Vehicle Detail
Starting bid is $700. The Good: It's really the great things about the car: It Runs Excellent! This is the 96 Honda Accord DX V6 2.7 liter 170 horsepower 4 speed automatic. It's like being on a flying carpet. Very smooth and quiet ride inside. I replaced the passenger side headlight assembly, hood, bumper, and fender. The odometer is a part of new speedometer that was replaced in the vehicle within the last 20,000 miles. The car has about 250,000 miles. The engine and transmission do NOT leak any fluids. Engine is quiet and the transmission shifts smoothly. I kept up with the maintenance on the vehicle until September 2013 then I stopped driving it, because the inspection ran out. It has been garage kept for most of the last 9 years. It has a new DieHard Gold battery purchased about a year ago. Interior looks great too. It has all the bells and whistles: power seats, power mirrors, power windows, power locks, cruise control, intermittent wipers, A/C(but it doesn't work...never did), AM/FM CD player w/ USB port with 4 speakers. It has ABS breaks too but the sensor went bad and I didn't bother to replace it. Tires are excellent. The Bad: It might need power steering eventually, because It makes a high whining noise when I initially start the car for the first minute. It will need some uni-body frame work under the hood as you can see near the front passenger headlight. The last picture I posted has yellow arrows where the three bolts should be attached; one on the fender, and two on the top of the headlight. The frame does not appear to be broken, but as you can see it is bent. I could still drive it the way it is but it needs an alignment, or under suspension work. It may only be good for parts. I'm not sure of all that it will need to pass inspection where you live. As I said it's not inspected. The Ugly: Inside the passenger door handle the plastic part around the handle is broke and needs to be replaced. The door opens fine, but the plastic part is not holding the metal inside handle too well. The hood doesn't fit real flush on the passenger side front fender. The drivers side bumper amber turn signal cover is taped in because it's the wrong size. The car is being sold as is. Just to repeat myself: The car is not inspected. It will need bodywork behind the passenger headlight. You can see the body of the car was pushed in when it was hit in the front passenger corner. I'm not a mechanic and I'm not sure what else it will need to pass inspection. It may only be good for parts. It may be fine the way it is. I'm not sure. Please ask any questions before purchasing and I can send additional pictures if I am not showing something you want to see clear enough.
