For sale is a well kept, in good shape 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with a fast, powerful, just replaced 3.5 litre V6 engine that only has 73,000 miles on it. The car belonged to a doctor friend of mine in Phoenix who has recently died. He kept it in great shape, doing dealer maintenance on it as recently as the end of January, 2017. He died in February from cancer and hasn't driven it much in the last several months. It has approximately 171,000 miles on it, but they were mostly highway miles as he had a long distance girlfriend relationship and drove to see her a lot. The engine had trouble on Memorial day and it didn't make sense to fix an engine with 171,000 on it so I had a used engine with low miles put in in June. Rather than bolt old stuff onto it, when the engine was changed we put a lot of new stuff on it that will never be an issue for you. A list of new stuff is as follows: Synthetic oil, Spark plugs, oil filter, coolant, trans oil, upper and lower radiator hoses, new thermostat and gasket, new water pump, new radiator, new timing belt, air filter, drive belt, ac service and freon, clamps, clips, power steering flush and fluid, all of that stuff is new. These cars are known to be built really well and can accumulate mileage well beyond typical other cars. I expect that with all this new stuff and a low mileage engine replacement that you will likely be driving this for years with no problems. The car specs are: 3.5 Liter V6, 5-Speed Automatic, Navigation System, Bluetooth, Dual Zone Climate Control, Cruise Control, Tinted Windows, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Mirrors, Leather Shifter, Power Drivers Seat, Power Passenger Seat, Heated Seat, Clock, Tachometer, Digital Info Center, Homelink System, Tilt Steering Wheel, Telescoping Steering Wheel, Steering Wheel Radio Controls, Moonroof, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Side Airbags, Keyless Entry, Security System, ABS Brakes, Traction Control, Rear Defogger, Intermittent Wipers, AM/FM/CD Changer w/ AUX Audio Input, Leather Interior Surface, Center Arm Rest, Cup Holders, Center Console, Daytime Running Lights, Premium Sound, Chrome Exhaust Tips, Compass And Temperature Display Exterior Color:Bold Beige Metallic with Alloy Wheels Interior Color:Ivory with wood trim There is some minor interior wear, minimal imperfection on the drivers seat, and a couple of scuffs (minor) on the front bumper. A fog light cover, close to the ground, barely noticeable, has a cracked cover. Other than that, and perhaps a little scuff here or there, it is in nice cosmetic shape. The tires are new, the brakes look new. I smogged it May 22. It passed and then I went to the CA DMV and titled and registered it. I got it out of the shop Wednesday June 14th. I'm driving it sometimes, so the mileage will not be exactly what is on here but close. The CA DMV registration is good for a year. The smog is still reuseable by you until about August 20. I was going to keep this, but I didn't expect to have to shell out $3250 so I'm selling it. As I said, it is a nice car. I'm enjoying driving it, it's nice, classy and has a lot of pep. When they finally get a price they want, they likely settled for less than they could have had, just to get it over with. We think something is a great deal when we see a smaller price, but usually in a short amount of time we find it wasn't such a good deal after all. It breaks down a few months later, or a year later. Maybe when you are out in the desert on your way to your vacation, or on your way to work. As I said, this vehicle has many great things that you will not find on a $4000 car. In perhaps most cases, and I speak from experience of buying about 5 cars on ebay in the last 15 years, cars are sold because they keep having problems and the person is tired of paying out to keep it going. He'll give you a lesser price just to have it gone. I didn't need this car, it was offered to me cheaply so that my friend wouldn't have to deal with it. His brother died and he had to deal with many components, house, etc. I thought it would be a great second car. It's always been garaged, he regularly serviced it at the dealer. I'm only selling because I didn't expect to pay out $3250 additional to the purchase price and it took all my savings. NO CAR that you'll buy cheaply, or even for a similar price to this one on ebay or craigslist will have a new timing belt and other belts, low mileage engine, new radiator, water pump, fresh recharge of air conditioning, new hoses, new tires, new brakes, etc, look great. I expect that you will drive this for years with zero problems. If someone doesn't buy it soon, I will have found other ways to bolster my savings account and just keep it. If you want it, you should buy it as soon as possible, before I decide to just keep it. Cars with all this great new stuff truly do not come along often at this price. Thanks.
