Vehicle Detail
Please read the ENTIRE LISTING before bidding or making any offer. This is a good vehicle, but it is not anywhere near perfect and this listing provides details about some of the imperfections. We recently purchased a brand new minivan and it is now time for our old one to find a new home. We were going to keep it to put at one of our family's vacation properties, but I got outvoted (they want a convertible there instead). This is the top of the line LIMITED version with all of the extra options that didn't come standard, even on the limited. That means you get heated seats, a power moonroof, DVD player with multiple screens, factory navigation, bluetooth, chromed wheels and the ever-so-hard-to-find swivel and go seats. As a limited model, it already comes with both power side doors, power rear tailgate, power rear bench seat (that stows automatically or configures a variety of different ways at the push of a button; it can fold completely flat to the floor) leather interior, adjustable steering wheel/pedals, steering wheel controls floor storage behind the first row of seating, and tons of other features. It also has super bright lighting inside and out. We bought this almost three years ago and it has served us well. It is very reliable and has never left us stranded. The paint still shines, all four tires are almost new (Goodyear wintertread) and most things work as they should. If you are not familiar with this model minivan, the front and back side windows can be lowered and the rearmost ones open outward -all by power, of course. The moonroof/sunroof works fine, stereo, navigation and DVD and screens all work fine. While it doesn't drive like a new car anymore, it still drives nice. This minivan also has the rare 4.0 liter engine that was only used by Chrysler for a short period of time as it was too expensive for them. It is very powerful and this minivan will screech the tires off the line if you floor it. Really - it is quicker than you think. And it still can get 20+ mpg. This does NOT have the Stow N Go seats. It has the much more comfortable and much better (and more expensive) Swivel N Go seats. That means they do not fold flat into the floor but they can very easily be taken out. But what they can do is they can swivel at the pull of the lever to face the back. You can do either or both middle seats. And it comes with a table that connects to the floor in between the middle and rear seats. I put the table in for a few pics, but I didn't put it all the way down on the post so it doesn't look as straight as it really is. This has storage galore. There are multiple glove boxes in the front, the extra sliding multiple compartment console between the seats that also has power outlets, and there is storage in the middle in the floor (you can put tons of stuff in there) as well as in other areas in the vehicle. There is also a factory luggage rack on top. Okay - so now for the not so good. Pay attention, as I am not interested in hearing complaints from whomever buys this as I am openly disclosing this stuff here, in no particular order:1) The interior has some wear and tear. The driver's seat has the most wear and some of the other parts inside are worn or even a little dirty. The car itself is fairly clean, though, but nobody will look at it and think it is new or almost new. It has NO bad odors and NO smoke or other smell.2) The outside has some small areas where there is surface rust or where it looks like there is a little rust under the paint. Not too much and not too bad, though. The outside also has its share of nicks, dings and scratches. Most notably, a collision with a deer on the driver's side front bumper corner cracked the bumper as shown in the photo. I have not fixed or tried to fix it and there is no significant hidden damage to the body or frame or anything from the impact. It also broke part of the plastic grill, but I replaced that with a new one. Note that you can buy a brand new front bumper pre-painted to match here on eBay for about $200 shipped.3) The windshield has a large crack on the passengers side. The cost to fix that, if you wanted it done, is about $250 and they come out to you to do it. 4) The air conditioning is not blowing cold. We have been driving our new van since getting it months ago and I just noticed this when cleaning it out to take pictures to list it today. I can tell you that the air worked fine last summer when we drove it a lot. But it was certainly blowing warm today when it was 85 or 90 out.5) The vehicle has an open recall (meaning the dealer will fix it for free when you bring it in) for the ignition switch as you can more easily turn the vehicle off when driving it than you should be able to. Never bothered us so we never took it to the dealer to fix, but I want you to know this anyway.6) The vehicle has almost 200,000 miles. Bottom line- this is a decent vehicle that still does almost everything as well or almost as well as it did when it was newer. And it doesn't look bad doing it. This was around $40,000 new and can now be had for a small fraction of that amount. I have the books, manuals, tons of records, the remote and headphones for the DVD stuff, and a multi-function key (you can open the side doors automatically by pushing the remote). I have a second key somewhere but haven't found it yet - so assume you are only getting the one key. It is currently registered and insured, so if you contact me BEFORE the auction ends you can come see and test drive it. If you win the auction and live within a few hours I MAY- that is MAY - be willing to bring it to you for a reasonable fee. But you need to arrange that with me AHEAD OF TIME. Note that the purchaser will have to arrange to get the vehicle and that the purchased will NOT be able to drive it with my tags on it. Sorry, but I'm not risking the liability for the purpose of this transaction. I have no interest in listing this more than once. I just sold my brother's old Porsche for him on here and fully disclosed everything there was to tell and the buyer, who just picked it up, was more than pleased. I have 100% positive feedback on eBay and have bought and sold things worth many many times what this vehicle will go for. I am not looking to surprise or fool you, but I do expect you to read and understand what I am selling and what you will be getting. Within three days from the end of the auction, you MUST pay either in full via paypal or in cash in person or in some other way THAT I HAVE OKAYED BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDED. You must also pay a $1,000 non-refundable deposit IMMEDIATELY after the auction ends. If you win this auction and do not pay as required and follow through as required, I will file the appropriate complaint with eBay and you will be liable for the $1,000 deposit as damages. If you cannot comply with these terms or do not like them, then simply do not bid or make an offer. By bidding or making an offer, you agree to the terms herein. I have the clean and clear title, in my name, in hand and ready to sign over. Thank you and have a nice day.
