For sale is my 2012 BMW K1600 GTL. I purchased the bike from its original owner a little over two years ago. At the time it had 29000 miles on it. Since that time my wife and I have toured the United States on this beautiful machine, adding approximately 23000 additional miles; hence the 52000 miles. BUT, don't let the mileage scare you! This bike is in excellent condition. All services and manufacturer updates are current. I am only selling the bike because I have come to a point in my senior life where I feel the need for 3 wheels under me; hence, the wife and I now ride a Spyder. By the way: I have NEVER dropped this bike and I seriously doubt that the original owner did. If you are looking at this auction you probably have already done your homework with respect to the BMW K1600 GTL. If not, I suggest you take some time and read the reviews. This is by far the most advanced bike I have ever owned. Everything is included with this bike, including the GPS, factory manufactured passenger armrests, additional running lights up front, rider highway pegs, headlight protector, luggage rack, wind deflectors on the side of the fairing and a shelf which can be used to mount additional items such as camera, radar detector, etc. You will tour in total comfort using the heated seat (passenger and rider) on cold days; along with heated grips. If you are riding single or two-up or two-up with luggage; just dial in the correct setting! If you feel like normal riding, or sport riding or if it decides to rain; again, just dial in the ride settings. Oh, and all these can be done "on the fly." Want the windshield up; just push the button and it goes up or down. The hours on the road can also be made enjoyable by tuning in the radio; including satellite radio! Front and rear tire pressures are monitored continuously. You can even check the status of your oil level, again, on the fly. On and on is the list of features!
