For sale is our 1966 Ford Mustang convertible (candyapple red on black on black). It’s an original T-code car with automatic shifter on the floor. This first generation Mustang is owned by a former Disney executive who has taken great care and pride in the car over the years. Power steering and drum brakes. Everything is mechanically sound and functions as it should. Functional gauges. Car starts on first turn of the key, idles and shifts through gears nicely. Exterior: The classic candyapple red paint (matches original) was done 8 years ago and shines like new. With black interior and black convertible top, it’s quite a sought after color combination for 1965-66 Pony cars. The body is straight with no dents, dings or rust. There are a few tiny blemishes in the paint but only noticeable upon close inspection. The engine compartment, trunk area, gas tank, exhaust and undercarriage are also clean and rust-free. Mustang emblems, trim, glass, rubber and chrome are all in great shape. New front and rear bumpers. Nice wire hubcaps and fairly new Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires (205 / 75R / 14 all around) with 90% tread remaining. Interior: The black interior is beautiful. Bucket seats, rear bench, door panels, dash, center console, Pony floor mats, carpet, convertible top and convertible boot are all extremely clean with good color and little wear. The horn needs reconnection but the radio, blinkers, head lights, tail lights, wipers, interior lights, trunk lock, door locks and power convertible top are all in working order.
