Vehicle Detail
Here is a great one owner truck that I just picked up from a local auction. It was used on a farm since new and according to the original owner I purchased the truck from was never driven in the winter. It was used since new to haul produce to the local town to sell off the back of the truck. The truck has no rust through that I can find and only some minor surface rust. The truck sat in the shed from 2011 until a few weeks ago when it was pulled out fresh gas put in it and fired up. It has the 460 V8 with an automatic transmission and air conditioning. The belt is off the AC system so I don't know if it works or not. The truck has 110k original miles and even has the original front hubcaps still on the truck. It has the Ranger package on the truck and most all of the trim is still on the truck in good shape. It does have some bumps and bruises from farm life but overall the body is in great shape for it's age. It has had two patches done over the rear wheels and I was told this was from the truck in the past having hooks installed there that pulled out. The repair work was done nicely. The truck also has a dent in the lower box corner on the passenger side due to a blown tire in the past. The truck has dual tanks and both work. The truck will need new rear tires while the fronts are in good condition although old. The truck runs and drives but after sitting for awhile does need a little starting fluid to get it going as it appears the gas leaks out of the fuel bowl over time, but it starts and idles great immediately once started. The truck drives but will need brake work as it has power brakes but they seem to not be functioning properly. The truck will stop with the brakes but they should be worked on. Since the truck hasn't been driven any length of distance recently I would suggest trailering it home, but I have put about 30 miles on the truck and the more it gets driven the better it runs.
