Vehicle Detail
To the best of my knowledge, I am the 2nd owner. Bought this car in Texas 15 years ago and logged about 150k miles during this time. It has been a very good car to us. My wife and I have two other cars and decided not to carry the costs of having 3 cars so, this one has to go !! The GOOD: Still plenty of good miles left on this car, transmission and engine are strong, The body has no rust or dents for 20 year old car!! AC is not as strong but it works. The BAD: "check engine" light is on and refers to transmission issue. Currently, car drives in "Safe Mode" which means that you can drive the car up to 45 mph and the engine will turn about 5000 rpm. It means that car is basically in 2nd gear. You could drive it short distances but you can't take it to the Interstate!!Engine codes are P0715 and P0720 which indicates the bad Conductor Plate. I went on and replaced this part (including filter and new fluid of course) but the code is back on. My mechanic says that he is 99.9% sure that the Conductor Plate I bought on eBay is defective. My wife says that we don't want to go through the same repair costs again so, we are selling it "AS IS"!! This would make a great car for a student or someone who appreciates the "simplicity" of cars made 20 years ago. Repair required is not difficult if you do it yourself. Let me know if you have any questions. Car is being advertised locally so, it is subject to early sale. Highest bidder will pay, non-refundable $250 deposit with PayPal. Balance due in CASH, when the car is picked up, no longer than 7 days from auctions end.
