1998 Porsche Boxster Base Convertible 2.5LSilver with Boxster Red LeatherCurrently 84070 Miles For sale is a 1998 Porsche Boxster 986 Convertible. It has a 5 speed transmission and 84070 miles. The car is currently being driven about 50 miles per week. I have owned the car for almost 2 years and it is a really fun car to drive. Currently the car will misfire when it is cold. Once the engine warms to normal operating temperature it runs fine. I do not know what is causing this issue. The air conditioner has not worked since I bought the car. I never looked into having it repaired. Aside from the fore mentioned issues the car's overall condition is very good. Once the engine is warm it drives great, the motor has plently of power and the transmission and clutch are perfect. On the road the car drives perfectly straight. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon. There are a few minor nicks on the hood and bumpers as would be expected for an 18 year old car. It has never been smoked in and the interior is very clean. The Power top, windows, door locks, and radio work properly. There are no tears in the seats or carpet. I have the original Red floor mats, Black Porsche mats are also included. I have all books and manuals that came with the car when new. It comes with one key and fob. The car is sold AS-IS. There is no warranty of any kind. The car is located in Southern Maine. It has been stored and covered in the Winter and was never driven in snow. A $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction. Full payment will be made by Bank Cashier's Check or Cash (Paypal will not be accepted) I have the clear title in hand. You are responsible to pick up the vehicle within 7 days.
