Hello, I am parting with my all original one owner Mazda 1200 Coupe Project, I have the original California pink slip & License plates non op'd since 1985 The car was purchased @ Richmond Mazda and spent its life in Downtown Sacramento, Ca. The Mazda does not run, the engine is locked. I have hooked up a battery and tested the electrical and everything works but the horn. The car is complete Except for: 1. Fuel tank was missing.2. Passengers door glass is broken out.3. Steering column cover was missing.4. Spare tire and jack are missing. The Mazda was put on non op in 1985 and stored in Placerville, CA , covered on the side of a barn until I bought it (by pure dumb luck) in 2016 from the 94 year old Japanese owner. I do not want to sell the car but due to medical conditions & the inability to work, I have no choice. The though of never having the opportunity to find another one is disheartening. This is the piston version to the extremely desirable R100 10A Rotary Coupe, with a different VIN number, tail lights, dashboard, E-brake and engine. I wanted to have a pre smog Mazda Rotary Swapped 13BT or 20B Coupe that was over powered and doesn't take up much space. This is your last opportunity to secure a premium foundation to build as you please. The value of this car will only go up in time... Just like the RX2, RX3, RX4, Cosmos and REPU. I have seen OTHER Mazda 1200's listed on eBay repeatedly missing many parts and with fresh rust primer and hidden issues asking top dollar with suspicious bidding?? I have all paperwork in order pinkslip & Ca DMV 262 all signed to me, I will transfer all ppwk with a 262 to new owner also including 1971 Factory manual via pdf email. The car is very nice with door dings and one bent bumper end, solid floors, quarters, trunk, and roof /valances. The hood is crooked due to broken right side hood hinge, the grill has only minor repairable wing dings around headlights from hood issue. All doors, trunk, gas door open and close as they should. The front fenders are good with minor dings and the car still has the plastic under engine cover with fan shroud. The existing windows are all original and operation condition. Has original keys 1 ignition & 1 door, trunk & fuel door. plus 2 blanks uncut. I removed the bias ply tires and installed new pep boys 155/80/13 white wall tires, valve stems and painted the wheels. This car must be trailered away, not on a tow dolly or driven, it does not run.Location is Loomis, CA 95650 Placer County I-80 Exit 110 Horseshoe Bar Road.
