Vehicle Detail
I am helping an older friend sell this car. He has had this car for approximately 12 years, but is getting too old so we are selling off some of his projects. This car is a rather rare 4P/2L car. I believe this car left the factory as an RS/SS 350 Camaro with a 4 speed manual transmission based on the data tag and the parts on the car. The original engine is gone, and a 396 is in it's place. Most of the body work has been done on this car, and it is near ready for paint. The quarter panels and fenders were replaced with GM panels when the restoration was started years ago. They are in very good condition. This would be a fairly easy project to finish, and it includes most of the parts to complete. The engine is currently out of the car, and the front end is disassembled as in the pictures. Car can be painted for additional charge. **UPDATE** - I took a closer look at the car this weekend and would like to add the following. The quarters and fenders were replaced with GM panels before my friend purchased the car. The quarters were replaced with full quarter panels, and were done very well. The seam where the quarter meets the wheel house looks factory. The fenders are solid with no rust, as are the doors. I know they are GM panels because they had GM stickers on them when he purchased the car. The rear pan below the taillights has been replaced with a standard pan, and would need the holes cut for the RS reverse lights. The panel behind the new pan has the factory provisions. The numbers on the transmission are: 3857584, 3851325, 3831707The bumpers are included and have recently been rechromed to show quality. There are two rust spots on the floor pan behind the back seat that would need attention. This is a typical place for rust on these cars, and patch panels are available. The previous owner notched the sub frame to accommodate the 396 engine. I have adjusted the price to take into account the subframe and floor pan work that would need to be done. More pictures are available upon request.
