Gorgeous combination of original factory 'Oyster' (Code SDE) color paint with factory chrome wire wheels and beautiful doeskin 'Magnolia' (Trim Code AEM) leather interior and a black power soft top! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! This is the rare 5.3L V12 model with factory options including: electronic fuel injection, electronic ignition system, power 4 anti-lock wheel disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering, leather-bound tilt steering wheel with airbag, power tinted windows, heated glass rear window, power door locks, automatic temperature control, air conditioning, cruise control, leather seats and trim, heated sport seats, power lumbar support, burled walnut facia and trim, deep pile carpet, Halogen foglamps/headlights and power mirrors. All service records including the most recent $6,300 service in October of 2015 at 16,615 miles at Evans Automotive in Columbus which included, replacing the convertible top, fuel hoses, coolant hoses and hardware, oil change and full tune up. The convertible top pump has been rebuilt, functions smoothly and has no leaks. The rear quarter window motors and regulators have been removed with all hardware and bagged. The motors need to be rebuilt and I just don’t have the time. This is one of the biggest problems with these cars, once the motors stop working; the windows either are stuck up or down. With the regulators removed, the windows can be raised and lowered manually. The A/C had not been recharged or converted to R134a and needs it. Years ago while the previous owner had the car in Florida, the top tore and while the car sat in a garage, the top was covered in plastic and taped to the body. In the photos you can make out faint finish differences between where the tape had been and the balance of the body. There are a few scrapes in the paint on the hood and some areas under the hood where paint has started to peel. There is a ding on the driver side rear quarter. Aside from that the body and paint looks great for a car of this era. Powered by one of the finest, race proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth 5,344 c.c. V12 engine was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940's and this particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should! One of the last beautiful hand built cars from Jaguar's legendary Browns Lane, Coventry, England plant and a car that cost around $75K new in 1991 (over $130K in today's money!) This is probably the last classic beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - with these particular models becoming harder to find in such all original condition with such low miles and with this car having owners who always garaged the car and primarily serviced the car at only certified Jaguar mechanics or dealerships, this is one sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply any classic car lover! All original owners dealer handbooks and tools and with full service history with only 17K original miles available!Additional photos available upon request.$1000 deposit due at close of auction via PayPal and balance due within 3 days via bank wire transfer or in cash.
