Buying a vehicle on the internet can be worry some, shipping and the "real" condition of the vehicle are the two biggies.I'll make the shipping as easy as possible. I have shipped many vehicles around the country and have bought 5 vehicles on ebay in the past. I understand the do's and don'ts for shipping and can be available at anytime to make sure it is done right and secured.Condition; I'm pretty sure everyone exaggerates the condition trying to get the biggest dollar for the car/truck. History of the car is as follows: She spent the first 16 years of her life in the state of Washington, I then purchased it from the original owner and ..had it shipped to Michigan where it has been sitting in my garage ever since. I did a few changes to the Dakota like changing the hood out. Original had a weird looking hood scoop attached that I thought was awful looking. Updated the interior and fixed a few blemishes. Everyone wants to know about the LS1 engine:1.) FAST intake2.) Under drive pulley system3.) Comp Cam - I have the cam card .610 / .6174.) MSD coil packs5.) Hand crafted headers6.) Cold air intakeWhen you hit the key you get that big power pop that us car guy's love. Bam, then onto that lumpy cam sound.It was dyno'ed back in Washington at 401 hp to the rear wheels, which, calculates to 466 at the flywheel All backed up with a Tremec T-56 6 Speed manual transmission. Shifts as smooth as it gets. Interior:NEW1.) Carpet2.) Custom door inserts..one is embrodered with the LS1/T563.) Custom covered Corbeau race seats4.) Glow shift gauges. If you do not know what these are, Youtube them...these gauges are amazing. 5.) Rockford/Fosgate speakers with Pioneer head unit and sum/with amp..Not the greatest sounding system that I have had. Just avg Exterior:1) Plum crazy purple2.) Flat black hood3.) Ahhh, the most important...NO RUST Not even underneath4.) Good glass, doors shut like new5.) Aftermarket front and rear lights..clear, no hazing6.) Rear roll pan, with exhaust cutouts. True duels exiting Suspension1) Cal-trac rear suspension upgrade2.) Yes, wheelie bars...just for show...bolt on..easy to remove..4 bolts and you have them for sale on Craigslist3.) New rear shocks4.) Hand fabricated rear diff cover. Looks amazing, much better than the JEGS/Summett aluminum type.5.) Wheels are aluminum MT brand..sold only by Discount tire co. Flawless condition. 18"6.) Tires are Nitto NT420 all 4 same size 255/50R/18. Full tread. Here is a list of why you wont win the car show trophy1.) There is a very weird looking paint flaw on the backside of the rear glass. See picture. Almost looks like a sticker, not sure what it is and I am not going to pick at it.2.) Three indents located on the drivers side door. Under a magnifying glass there does not appear to be any abrasives marks, don't think they are door dings. No paint or clear coat scuffing. more like the steel de-stressed itself.3.) Bed liner is starting to fade from a deep black to just a weak black.4.) The infamous..fuel gauge not working. Just needs a wire run to the sending unit. Not as easy as it sounds If your taking her to shows be prepared for a lot of questions and "what were you thinking?" "Why?", ,I always responded with something like...it's not a 69 Camaro.
