1988 HONDA XR600. Broken 3rd gear. Over $1000 was dropped into this bike. Replaced oversize gas tank with stock size. New grips, coil and sparkplug. New seat cover and rear fender tool bag. New front number plate (aftermarket) and Honda decal. New headlight, taillight lens, and Honda fork boots. New UNI air filter. New sprockets, chain, front sprocket guard, and rear sprocket nuts and bolts. New steering head tapered bearings. Replaced stock twin pipe headers with newer 2 into one because they originals were cracked. Includes used Supertrapp ID3 aluminum muffler (new fiberglass packing) with internal discs/spark arrestor. New Intake manifold and O-ring. New Carb cut-off valve. Carb has stock jetting. Recent oil and filter change and new right engine cover gasket and kick starter seal. Had her up at Hollister Hills and found out third gear is out. May have cracked crank case - leaking oil. Finally got the motor running fine after many months work. Found a faulty wire to the CDI. New clutch cable. Tires have good tread but rear has a crack. Both tires are weathered. Current California Green Sticker, Title and Registration. Prefer not to part out - bike is stored in a shed at my daughters home. Should be straight forward repair for a knowledgeable mechanic. It looks like someone had the wheels latched to a rail or something causing deep scratches. The front wheel looks to have a hair-line crack.These "repairs" were present when my son acquired the bike. Does not affect functionality - mainly cosmetic. But, if anybody wants to withdraw their bid, then I will certainly honor that.
