Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my Wonderful collector bike, 1983 Honda CB1000 Custom, 16,495 miles in great condition, Starts and runs like a champ. Original Honda Candy Regal Brown, Always Garage kept! Seat has been recovered ( I think) and a small amount of black paint chips on the engine area (where feet rest are) and on brake calipers. Hand grips are not original. Pretty nice for its age! The bike was to my understanding originally from Calf. Where the brother of the guy I bought it from purchased it from lived and he bought it from the original owner. It had just been sitting in a guys garage for years. In one of the last pics listed you can see a Invoice sheet from Mach 1 Motorcycles in Costa Mesa Ca. at that time the bike had 13,987 miles on it. The work done on the bike is as follows: Carburetors gasket kit, Air Filter, Float needles, Tank Crème kit, petcock Screen, 1 Front Master Cylinder rebuild , I Rear Master Cylinder rebuild, Front for Seals, Front Fork seal bushing, Fork Oil, Brake Fluids, Brake Pads, Engine Oil, Front tire and rear Dunlop tire. Cleaned and lined tank, Checked Compression , Clean Carburetors, Rebuild Calipers and Master Cylinders, new Tires, R&R front fork seals, and change motor Oil. If you have questions you can call me Curt, 1-970-570-5443. I live in South Western Colorado. The bike is a great collector and I have maybe ridden it 300-400 miles since I have owned. The Only item I know personally that are not original are the seat ( I think it has been recovered) And the hand grips. The tachometer does not work as it should ( it works but I believe rpm is not correct)I am starting this Auction with a low starting price and it sells to the highest bidder.
