Vehicle Detail

Iridium Silver on Ash leather R500 great unique wagon with second row front back adjustable and reclining captains seats with armrest for big rear seat passengers to ride in luxury and comfort. Also great for multiple children or child seats. Huge rear doors for comfortable access. Nothing else like it really on the market, I'm surprised this large wagon format didn't become more popular. Don't let the miles scare you, this car was over maintained with all needs met at dealer and quality indy euro service. Even the tires with lot's of life left were always replaced with OEM Michelins. Everything works, rides nice, tracks straight, suspension rides no different from new, trans, engine, brakes all function great, no leaks, no check engine lights not one function or button that doesn't work. Never really had any problems with this car. Once there was a steering issue that was fixed and once there was a problem with the fuel pump getting power but I think it was just a fuse and has worked fine since. All these fixes were back a few years ago. Backstory is this was my Mothers car since new 1 owner clean carfax car. She is now in her young 70's and has retired to Europe. She loves this car, thought she would keep it forever and never wanted to sell it, but the time has come. My mom was always a multiple car owner. This was her long distance touring car. It was actually garaged in rural Virginia and used there mostly but she didn't like paying high taxes assessed to newish vehicles in VA. The miles were put on by lot's of highway trips between VA and NY. In NY it would be parked and not used while there until the trips back to VA. My mom also didn't fly for many years so she drove this car several times to California for family gatherings as well as Florida and Canada. Hence the miles are 90% hwy miles with oil changes and service before and after long trips. The rest was used in rural Virginia on country roads. So this is much different then the duty cycle of a car used in urban areas, in constant stop and go traffic or on short suburban trips where the oil never get's up to temp before being shut off after a few miles before being used for more short trips. This car has had the best kind of miles for being able to easily last 500,000 miles and beyond. But the next 150,000 miles easy with minimal needs. I am a euro car enthusiast and also advised her on proper servicing beyond recommended such as 5,000 mile synthetic oil changes and regular transmission, differential, coolant and brake fluid flushes. There were never any little kids in the back of this car. But car includes isofix and backstrap latch on all 4 rear seats. Occasionally it transported my whole family or guests, but you can see from pics interior is in great shape and was regularly detailed, vacuumed and cleaned. No smoking (ashtray and lighter are visibly unused) no funny smells at all (still kinda smells like leather and new car smell actually) never any pets, never used as dirty cargo hauler. AWD is great for weather but this car was never driven in snow as my mom was either freaked out to go out in bad weather or she used the truck in the family. Underbody is clean, car is rust free and was also given frequent underbody rinses. Exterior does have a few chips and signs of highway use but nothing that bad. Still looks very presentable and paint is glossy and shiny still consistent with it being garaged when not being used. Touch up paint was used when needed. Not even parking lot door dings or wheel rash as this car was just not used like the typical suburban mall crawler, busy family use, uber use or service as a commuter car although it would be great to jump into any of those uses and more at this point. No accidents or bodywork ever. Could just use the headlight lenses being polished with a restoration kit. Has MB dealer installed options of mudguards, car cover,255 18 inch wheels, sunroof package, sirius/xm satellite radio. Also DVD navigation, rain sensor wipers, 300hp 340ft/lbs V8, 7 speed transmission, heated seats, rear seat vents, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, load leveling rear suspension,4matic,speed sensitive steering,2 zone climate control, electrostatic dust filter, remote locking smart key,10 way power bucket seats, auto lighting system, 44oz cupholders,4 12v plugs front and rear, garage openers, aux input in glovebox for stereo, side airbags for all 3 rows, hill start assist so you don't roll back on steep hills,3 point seat belts with tentioners for all 6 seats, tele aid like onstar etc, etc...loaded with Mercedes luxury, convenience, comfort, dynamics and safety technology. Because of the size of this car R500 really is ideal with the V8 to move it around. The V6 is a slug and just is not capable moving this much weight of a large car. R350 ends up being overstressed and doesn't really get that much if any better MPG's as you have to push it much more. The 5liter V8 in the R500 is much better suited, ends up being under stressed, moves with much lower rpm's and ends up getting great MPG's for this sized car since you are not really pushing it and my mom certainly never did get anywhere near stressing this engine on easy close to speed limit highway trips. The mpg's on HWY is actually not bad at all. Mercedes Benz V8's are legendary and reliable, not the V6's. I have sold multiple vehicles, motorcycles, tractors etc all high ticket items and all with 100% positive feedback since 2005. I do not plan on having that change with this sale.I represent honestly. This AWD beast of a 5L V8 monster super wagon has a lot of life in it and will make the next owners happy. Would be hard to find something in this price range that will look like you spent way more on it, present so nicely, has such utility, features, luxury and ride quality and has such a great unique usage,1 loving owner, zero accidents and great maintenance history. Spend way less then you were even planning to for something similar. Private party with the full story and out of the ordinary light type use for less wear and tear overall in a fully depreciated luxury car is the way to go for the most value and best deals. You will not find such discounts or even be able to get such history buying from a dealer. So you're buying blind about the history generally across multiple owners and paying more. Car has sat a bit in last year and I noticed battery was not perfect. So car will come with a fresh battery installed and oil change service so that it's completely ready to go. I will have that done this week. Pick up locally near Charlottesville,Virginia. I can also deliver in person between VA and NYC for a slight extra cost anywhere off of I-95. Otherwise have shipper pick up and deliver with confidence. I will hand over reliably to shipper when scheduled as I have done with multiple long distance sales. Car is in 22948 area code Locust Dale VA. I have a lot more pics I can send or take pics of any detail you like. Can also do FaceTime walk around. Inspection before auction end is fine.$500 paypal deposit. No reserve auction, highest bidder wins this car!I do not pull my auctions once they start.Do not bid if you are not prepared to purchase.
