2003 Subaru Baja Sport Read the entire description below; I am giving you all of the information that I have to give you on the condition of this truck. I want you to know what you are buying! I do not want to sell this Baja. I have owned it for almost 9 years. This is really a great little truck and I am sick about having to sell it. (My knee surgeon told me that pushing a clutch is bad for my left knee, I have no choice but to sell). It took me two years to find this truck and they are getting harder to find everyday. Passenger Airbag Recall Has Been Completed No Recalls at This Writing. Complete With Trailer Hitch (never used)Has the Bed Extender and fold down tag on tailgate.Power Sun Roof pops up in the back for venting or slides back to open up completely. NOTE: The Minor Issue On the Auto Check report is the small scratch on the front bumper where I ran into the back of a Toyota (Impact under 5 MPH) scratching the Toyota's bumper. This Baja has a 5 Speed Manual Trans-axle with a 2.5 Boxer Engine. (Not a Turbo) Body is dent free with a few minor scratches. Front bumper and grill show wear, but don't need repair, just cosmetic. Plastic cover on gas lid is missing. Paint is very good with the exception of the hood (See the last photo) NOTE: Hood paint has an area that is peeling. Truck has two new front axles. Timing belt has 50k miles left before due. New fuel filter and oil change. Tires (BF Goodrich Advantage T/A) have about 70% good tread. NOTE: Check engine code for catalytic converter. This is not affecting the performance of the engine. (If you live in a non-emission county or state this is not an issue for you.) After market converters run about $350. Both oxygen sensors are new. Engine runs great and has a new coil and wires. NOTE: In below freezing weather a piston slap can be heard when started cold. This happens ONLY in freezing weather and goes away during engine warm up. This has not changed at all throughout the years and should not be an issue.Interior is in very good condition for a 14 year old car with NO tears or stains on the cloth seats. Console and dash are in very good condition. Rear Seats do not have headrests.Accessories are in good working condition.
