The Honda CB400F is a motorcycle produced by Honda from 1975 to 1977. It sold around 105,000 which were available in Light Ruby Red and Varnish Blue. It was a bike known for its clean lines and sporty café racer look. This particular bike is from the first year of production in 1975. The bike is painted the original varnish blue with 23,762 miles. It is very original and in good running condition. The exterior paint has a few small cosmetic chips and areas of the clear coat lifting off near the filler cup. There are no signs of rust or leaks, the bike runs and sounds great. The bikes four uniquely curved exhaust pipes with just the right amount of chrome makes the bike's design sharp. The seat is in clean condition with no signs of any tears. Its smooth appearance was an overall great built machine with a six speed transmission with a slip resistant clutch. The engine at 408cc air-cooled SOHC inline four catching up to 95 mph speed. All lights and electric are functionally properly! The bike has been part of a collection and hasn’t been a daily driver but has been well maintained. Due to this, it can be seen in the picture that the tires are showing signs of cracking. The original muffler comes with the bike; it does have a small dent with a hole which can be chromed. A new reproduction part has recently been put on the bike. The bike has a clean title to be dealer reassigned. The bike is located in Indianapolis and we encourage inspections.
