This bike started off as an original 1986 GSXR 1100 with 32k miles. The bike was torn to the bare frame which was media blasted and powdercoated. Then built back up 1 bolt/nut/screw at a time.Tons of man hours and money were spent on this high quality restoration. Powdercoated frame.Powdercoated swing arm.Replaced swing arm bearings.Replaced neck bearings.Powdercoated wheels.Replaced sealed wheel bearings, front and rear.Rebuilt engine including Wiseco pistons/rings/etc. Mikuni 36mm Radial Carbs.Restored and Ceramic coated Vance n Hines period correct Supersport Exhaust, which they don't make anymore.Completely restored body with new high quality PPG Urethane /paint/clear.Replaced decals.Restored master cylinders front/rear and clutch with new site glass in all.Restored brake calipers, front and rear.Replaced fork seals/dust covers.Replaced sprockets and heavy duty 530 and nickle plated o-ring chain.Replaced tons of rubber grommets/screws/bolts/fasteners/seals/gaskets/clips, etc. with genuine Suzuki replacements.Top of the line Avon tires.Superbike grips.Dark Smoke Windscreen.Replaced battery, with high quality sealed unit.Replaced all brake lines and clutch line with high quality stainless braided lines.K and N pod filters.Replaced petcock.Almost every single part on the bike that is metal was powdercoated!Do not have the original turn signals , but they are still available from Suzuki. I will include the original passenger pegs which are powdercoated to match.Bike sounds, runs and rides great, just finished break in w/conventional oil and switched to Mobil 1 20/50 synthetic. Approx. 500 miles on bike since the restoration. Bike is a conversation piece and turns heads everywhere it goes.Clean Mass. Title.I'm sure i'm forgetting other parts/etc that we replaced.
