Currently register under my name with CT transferable Registration. This bike was under cloth cover in a heated basement for last 28 years. Mechanically is perfect as it just left factory yesterday. . If you want an unmolested low mileage R65LS , this is the textbook example. This bike has original EPA SMOC control, Original Factory tiresfes ( rims have no tire rod mark indicated no tire changed and still has original factory tires). Wires are clean and unmolested! Inside tank is MINT!! Therefore, we decided leave this beautiful patina along and focused on the mechanic. And the new owner can ride while do the cosmetic as his/her choose. Bike come with stack of service receipts, owner menu even its pre delivery inspection from BMW. We have gone through the whole bike with our high standard shop ready for road service, works performed were as followed: New sealed Battery, New coil, New Bulbs. New Disk pads, New fuel lines. Cleaned/Re-built both carburetors with new gaskets. Service the hydraulic and change brake fluid Safety checked/re-torqued on every single nuts and bolts on the whole bike. Re-adjusted front brake setting. Ensured all the wiring/lights functional. Re-set valve gaps to spec. Re-set ignition timing/gap. New spark plugs. Serviced horn. Replaced all fluids (TWICE) (Engine, transmission, driveshaft, and final drive). Cleaned/lubed all the cables. This bike wears this 30 years old patina paint lost, and paint touch ups, and there is crack on top of left case ( should be easily plastic welded) .
