1966 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed This 1966 Chevelle Is fully restored and have been garaged since its restoration in 2006 – 2007 The VIN# decodes the car as a true 396 SS Coupe Manufactured in Kansas City. The restoration is was a “Frame Off” keeping most if the vehicle stock except for the powertrain. It is powered with a New 454 crate engine, close ratio HD 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt limited slip rear end with ladder bars. It breathes through Hooker headers, all exhaust is stainless & chrome. It runs and drives very well.
