The SVT Lightning drew rave media reviews as the one performance truck that had it all: acceleration, braking and handling, as competent doing laps at the track as it is doing chores. Having a Single Overhead Cam 5.4 Liter V-8 mated to an Eaton Supercharger, the SVT lightning was good for 380hp/450 lbs. ft. of torque that could propel the truck from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds. Ensuring the power could be adequately handled was a 4R100 4 speed automatic transmission borrowed from the Ford Super Duty platform to transmit power to a limited slip 9.75" rear axle. This particular SVT Lightning is in good overall condition with wear commensurate with its age. No known mechanical issues, rear tires in good condition but front ones can use a change. No major dents or dings but a few small scrapes. One by the passenger fog light and one by the drivers side rear tail light. Drivers side bolster shows some wear but could be improved. Truck is completely original with exception of a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. Original exhaust is included with sale. It also has a very high quality spray in bed liner. Nothing wrong with this truck, simply needing to make room for my GT350 coming in soon.
