1964 Mountain Cub. Very clean, good running un- molested Tiger Cub. Fresh valve job, new valves, guides, springs. New rings, new seals throughout engine and tranny, rewired stator, new energy transfer coil, exhaust header and seat cover. Has the 9:1 piston (+.040), and the high lift cam. The Amal Concentric carb has a new master kit and works perfectly, although I do not believe it is the correct carb for this model. This little bike sat in a basement for over 40 years, so it needed a good bit of cleanup and reconditioning. Still has English Dunlop tires that are not cracked, but are very hard and should be replaced if it is to be a daily rider. All chrome is in good condition with the exception of the muffler having some scratches – see pictures. It does not have a chain guard or skid plate, other than that, it’s a good example of a Mountain Cub. It came to me with a notarized bill of sale from the owner of the past 40+ years. The past owner could not find the title. The bike was last registered in Virginia in 1970. I do have the registration numbers, however, I have not pursued obtaining a Virginia title for it.
