This was a California car, shipped to Florida 15 years ago and has been stored in a garage, except for testing. Modified with a Japanese Domestic Motor, 3SGE VVTI Beams Engine 36,000 miles on the engine, a Sakura fuel management system, custom made headers with new exhaust system and added a Toyota Celica transmission, shortened and balanced drive shaft. The battery was relocated to the trunk brand new battery Saturday. The floor was modified to accept the transmission, the fenders were cut to accept flairs (the rear quarter fenders were fiber-glassed to look like the original fenders underneath the flairs). The rear wheel well and the heater box were eliminated, seats were replaced with Toyota scion seats, tow bar was added under valance. Door panels are in great shape. The heavy duty rear axle is from Toyota pick-up truck. Emblem mounting holes were filled (these are the white areas) . The car needs the following additional work: connecting the emergency brake cables to the handle on floor, alternator need to be wired, adding a gas pedal, seat belts for scion seats in the front.The cost of a corolla coupe in stock condition is around $6,000. What we have here is a highly modified corolla 3sge VVTI beams red top engine around 240 hp, Celica transmission, Toyota heavy duty hi-lux rear axle, Sakura fuel management system, custom headers, shortened drive shaft, seats that are like new. Reserve is less than 1/3 of my investment Over $19,000 invested in the Corolla. I tested the car on the road December 2016.
