For sale is a beautiful 1960 Pontiac Star Chief 4D with a 389 V8 engine and A/T (no A/C) It has the bubbletop design, similar to the Impala. The car will start/run/drive but the brakes need to be bled and fuel system should be flushed. Ideal for a complete restoration or it won't take much to make it a daily driver. This is a true classic, very rare vehicle. Clean NC title. Pros: - Comes with all original chrome. Carburetor, starter and wiper motor have been recently rebuilt. New brake master cyl. Brake shoes and wheel cyl in good condition. The 389 V8 runs good and has a 2 barrel carburetor (possibly can be converted to tri-power if desired). Most of the car is rust free except left rocker panel (needs patch repair) and there is some light surface rust on trunk, roof, hood, fender. Cons: - Needs complete interior restoration including seats & trim panels. Headliner is in good condition but is sagging in the center. Electrical (radio, signals/lamps, etc.) need repair. Brakes need bleeding, fuel system should be flushed, thermostat sticks on occasion. Tires still have good tread but are old. Sold as is, no warranty. **Buyer responsible for transportation/shipping**
