The good things about this car: The car is complete and will drive. ALH TDI engine which runs great as long as the MAF sensor is disconnected. It has low power when it is connected. Pirelli tires are in great shape. Body is solid except for the dented running board. Paint is faded. The bad: The transmission is slow to engage when cold. The interior is trashed. A water leak from the sunroof ruined the interior before VW sent out the addendum to the owner manual about cleaning the drains. The windsheild is cracked. The face plate on the radio is broken. The left door panel is broken and some of the switches in it. The bottom line: My opinion is that this car is a parts car for someone in need of an ALH TDI engine. It could also be repaired if someone has a totaled car with a good interior. I don't want to imply that this car is ready to be a daily driver, but it could be with a lot of TLC.
