Up for auction is this Original 1982 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler 4x4 Truck Survivor "Original Paint" Factory 4.2L 258CID 6 Cylinder, Automatic Column Shift with Air Condition Documented thru Carfax, 168,695 miles are original. Clean Carfax - no accidents. Original California truck, spent its entire life in Southern California with it's original Blue plates. Sold new in San Diego at Peck Buick-Jeep. Remains pretty much all stock & original including paint/interior. Never been taken apart or restored. Just a solid CJ8 Scrambler that has never been abused. The interior is never been chopped up, loving the uncut dash. Never been used as a off-road vehicle. Solid & factory undercarriage. Solid bed/tailgate. CA car - expect solid. Running & driving just fine. Shifts / brakes alright. The owner added a throttle body injection system to the original 258cid. The air condition compressor works but needs some Freon to be really cold. The 4WD drives does work & locks ins into place. All the lights are working except the fog lights. The tires are old & should be replaced before driveling her a long distance. This is a unrestored CJ8 Scrambler that is original - not perfect.Your bidding on a car with patina - faded paint/interior but I would not restore it. To answer some of the questions that has been asked. 1) Lights, gauges and the clock are working. I got the fog lights to work now as well. 2) it's been on a California non operation since 2015 & the fees to renew it in CA is $77 3) solid original CJ8, needs paint / interior.
