1979 Super Beetle Convertible California Car 47,500 miles Car is a 3 owner with my wife being the 3rd owner, the prevous owner had it 15 years. Drives really nice, goes down the road straight at 60-65 mph, brakes are good , minimum shake or bounce (it is 37). Underside had no rust i am painting with POR 15 (see pics). This car has some amenities not usullay seen in a beetle,: heated seats, Clock, Great stereo and speakers, new mag rims, Comfortable seats...ect... The following is a list of new or improved items. New tires New Mag wheels New upholstery on Front seats (extra cushion) New upholstery on rear seat. New carpet New upscale braided coco floor mats Heated seat coils New top with very nice upscale dust cover (see pic) New matching tonneau cover for driving with the top down and staying toasty warm. It covers the top and both driver and passenger but un zips to drive. Interior dash is in great shape All fluids are new The Engine was pulled and all seals, hoses wiring, plugs ect.....replaced, Trans axle was gone try and all seals replaced. Has original Muffler and California only catilitcal converter New Sound shield added to engine compartment. Electronic ignition. New muffler. Runs solid. Passed California Smog. Car has been Painted once, body and underside has no rust and never has had any. Paint is driver quality, you could put a new paint job on this and take it to the next level very easily.Car still has the california catalytic converter on it! Car drives nice down the road, it shows well as a driver and it is a very nice car.
