This scooter was on loan and displayed at the Petersen Automotive Museum for their Scooters exhibition for nearly 4 years. It was then rotated around the collection until it's return to me last year. The scooter had been restored by the previous owner and myself over a 5 year time. I have a ton of documentation that goes with the scooter. I was told that it was originally from Bari, Italy and used by a hotel to pick up guests from incoming passenger ships in the 1950's It was brought to California in the 70's to be used by a studio prop department. That's were the previous owner bought it. The scooter is without any scratches had the tank and liquids professionally drained by the museum and was treated literally with white gloves. It has only been driven around the Torrance airport where it is stored in a hangar. Also, we used it to drive around the Torrance Christmas Tree Section Lights last year. The scooter had a slight leak from the swing arm chain case but that my only be that I over filled it. Also, battery is dead and the brake and turn signal lights aren't working. This scooter runs great and deserves to be ridden and enjoyed by someone new. I am selling of my collection which includes 57 GS150 VS3, 1962 GS160 Mark 1 roundtail, and a 1961 Lambretta TV173 Series 2 with Watsonian Bambini sidecar (see photo).
