Vehicle Detail
For sale is an up and running 1973 Honda CB175 Cafe Racer. This bike has been restored with a new head gasket, cleaned out carbs, spark plugs, and has been trimmed down for the cafe racer look with new clubman handle bars. No turn signals, gauges, fenders, etc. (the mirror in pictures is currently not on the bike). Pictures were taken 4 days ago. The headlight has been updated with a chrome Emgo headlight. This light is nice and has an easy to replace bulb compared to the stock headlight. The bike is California registered and up to date. I am the third owner. Probably has around 15k miles but its unknown due to not having gauges on it for a while. There is a small tear on the upholstery of the seat that has been sewn together, about 3 inches long. Small instances of rust on the frame here and there but nothing serious by any means. Engine turns over with electric start or a single kick. Currently the idle is a little high. This doesn't affect the bike from running, but it would be best if the air mixture screws were slightly adjusted on the carbs to have it idle at the correct rpm. Bike can cruise comfortably at 55/60 with a top speed probably around 65/70. I am not exactly sure since I have never had a speedo on it. But I have been going 'slightly downhill' on straightaway next to a friend and at the light I asked what we were cruising at and he said 70ish. ****Located for sale locally in Los Angeles where the bike is located.**** The listing will be terminated if the bike is sold locally. *** Feel free to ask questions!
