Vehicle Detail
If you're looking for a good project car or parts car this is it. It's been in non-op status for 2 years.I have a lot of info on this car as I tried several attempts, to make it my everyday driver. I drove it for a couple of years before the engine blew. I had a rebuilt dropped in, but because the mechanics failed to understand was that the coolant system was seized from a thermostat- the engine seized and never worked again. I had a second engine installed, this time rebuilding the entire cooling system, the pre-chamber failed and threw a check ball bearing into the #5 cylinder- second and current engine installed needs to be rebuilt again. With the second rebuild I had a brand new Turbo charger unit installed- that only worked for a week or so before the pre-chamber blew and ruined the engine. It smokes bad because of the blown cylinder. But it will run. I got a ticket for excessive smoke though and I had to sideline it- it's been in non-op status since. So really I'm looking for $500 to recoup my costs of what is basically a brand new turbo charger unit. I have paperwork for all work done. Heck, the car has a $500 Sony stereo in it. I am heartbroken to have to sell, but I'm moving and don't want to incur the cost of another rebuild right now, it's been 2 years and I cannot save enough $ to rebuild it. I just need to get rid of it.
