Vehicle Detail

1965 Dodge Dart Gt convertible. This car was driven into a barn over 30 years ago as a used car with the top down. It sat there untouched for 15 years. It was then purchased by a gentleman who always wanted a sporty convertible and had plans of restoring it. He hauled it home and parked it in his barn. Once again it sat untouched for 15 years. This is where I come in. I wanted to leave it as found but after 30 years of barn storage with the top down it was beyond filthy. After I gave her a bath I decided to see if I could get her running again. After some work she now runs and lot drives. The car is running out of a small gas tank under the hood. Now about the car, all of the GT parts and convertible parts are there. I have not noticed any missing pieces. Even the original jack is in the trunk. The fender tag is there and the owners manual is in the glove box. I do have a Pennsylvania Title for the car. New York does not issue titles for cars this old. As with all cars they look better in photos and this one is no exception. Again it was parked over 30 years ago as a used car. It does have some rust and some bondo in it. But the great part is it's 100% there with no missing parts and that's a major plus for a 52 year old Mopar convertible. You can do some more work and drive it the way it is for the patina look or restore it to its original glory, that choice is yours. $500 deposit due within 48 hours. Balance due in cash on pick up. I would like it picked up in 2 weeks but I can work with you on this. I may be able to arrange delivery to some areas. Ask questions before bidding, not after. I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. If you don't have over 10 feedbacks call me before bidding. Here is a walk around video link of the car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypaOCl04w2A You can also call me (315) 440-6330 Ed On Jan-07-17 at 12:18:15 PST, seller added the following information: In response to some of the questions I'm getting about the car. This car is being sold as a Restoration Project. It does have rust on it and under it as well. It has sat for over 30 years in a barn. All of the windows are there and they roll up and down fine. I did go and take some photos of the bottom of the car. I'm having a problem loading new photos to the listing but I will gladly email them to you. The area by the back of the rear springs is ok. The torsion bar mount area is ok. The main floor pans area is ok. The rockers are ok. The worst rust is in the area under the rear seat and by the front of the rear springs ( this is a very typical spot on convertibles ) . There is also rust under the front floor pan the drivers side has more than the passenger side. There is some old patch work (tin work) under the car and also a crude attempt to patch the area by the front of the rear spring on the drivers side. I will gladly answer any questions you have.
