Vehicle Detail

Hey there fellow ebay pals! we have finally realized it is time to sell our beloved 1973 Datsun 240z. *history* This car has been in our family since new with my aunt being the original owner since 1972.she took very good care of the car always garaging & maintaining it mostly at sunrise Z services. she always kept it out of bad weather and also this car has never left california exept a couple of trips to LV.One day in the mid 80's she was taking it out for a cruise and on the way home she stopped to pick up some groceries only to come out and see that some jerk backed into the front end causing a decent dent on the hood, which was professionally replaced and repainted, in those days like most 70's & 80's vehicles the value was very low causing the insurance to give it a california Salvage title, but the good news is that there was absolutely no frame damage on the car or any major body parts replaced exept for the hood, the car did have a repaint in that time as well which is still in great shape exept for the roof. The odometer currently reads 73201 which has honestly never turned over, the reason for the low mileage is because my aunt never drove it a lot and at that time she had already purchased a new car and after awhile the Z was just her toy that she liked to look at in the garage, After awhile around 2003 it was given to my step-father that drove it for awhile then it sat in the garage for a bit. Finally i received the car as a gift around 2012. *current condition* The exterior of the car is not restored, its mostly original. The body is rust free, except for some very minor surface rust but thats nothing really to big to worry about. Also the car has no bondo no dents or major body flaws at all, you can definitely put a nice shiny black paint job on this car and be satisfied by the straight body. The Interior is 100% original and is definitely not in bad shape. Only thing that does need repair is driver side seat and dash has a few minor cracks but for a 44 year old vehicle, it'd say its cleaner then most early 2000 cars All electric and mechanical components are in working order. The engine still fires right up and idles great. To be driveable all it needs is some new fluids and the clutch\brake fluid to be bleed. All windows are original and have no cracks, both doors and windows have a nice smooth feel when operating them. The rims and tires are in good shape, the rims have no curb rash and has never been welded the tires are definitely good enough to do some rolling around town in. This vehicle is being Offered to the highest bidder, Only reason I have decided to sale it is because we just never have time to enjoy her, shes just lonly sitting in the garage next to my other project. Please be realistic and enjoy bidding.
