W108, last version of this classic body style with the rare V8, extended through 1973 in the US with the more luxurious 4.5L V8 and extended wheelbase Maintained by longtime second owner of over 30 years (records included). Recently gently recommissioned with minor service including fresh fluids, spark plug wires, shift bushing and air cleaner. Dark blue with the tan perforated leather interior, AT, AC, power windows and factory alloy wheels. Runs and drives well. Starts, stops, turns, and cruises in understated luxury. Straight, solid and extremely rust free. As solid as any unrestored W108 you'll find. Take a look underneath. Could use a cosmetic restoration. Originally a brown car but owner preferred the dark blue and had it repainted. Leather is worn but complete and functional. Wood dash is fairly good shape except the strip under the window that typically needs refinishing. She was hit in rear driver fender in past but owner had properly repaired through the insurance, resulting in the title mark here in the US. Fender and metal welded in and properly replaced. Inspected inner fender, trunk, etc. and all is as it should be and nearly indistinguishable from the other side. Perform an easy cosmetic restoration with return to factory color for a stunning solid example with much greater value or just drive as is. Either way, it would be hard to lose with this example.
