My dad bought this S-10 Sport truck new in 1986 from Welborn Chevrolet in Rome GA. It has original paint that has faded with some scratches but no dents and has never been in an accident. Bed has lots of scratches but no rust thru areas. Interior is also original with the SPORT trim bucket seats with "TRUCK" in the seat and door panel fabric. Driver's seat is soiled and worn from use but is without tears or rips. Passenger seat is nice. Carpet is faded and head liner has a few sagging spots. Dash pad has a couple of large cracks- one above steering wheel and one on passenger side along with some smaller ones. The original Welborn Chevrolet side window stickers are still present. My dad did not drive much his last few years and skipped oil changes. After he passed, I purchased this truck from my mom and started driving it some. The oil pump picked up sludge seizing the engine. I then purchased a rebuilt engine which now has appx 20,000 miles on it. A few months ago, I had new rubber window seals and new window regulators and motors installed, along with a new fuel pump and battery. Air conditioner is not working, bezel holding headlight switch is broke and has been rigged back together, but should be replaced. The rebuilt engine is a 2.8 that was removed from a 1988 Blazer, rebuilt by a mechanic that has done work for me for 20 plus years. Heater does not blow warm air and will likely need a heater core. Windshield wipers have quit working. All turn signals front, rear and sides all work. This will be the last relist on this truck.
