This is a 1973 Jeep CJ5 that is in good condition and all original. The Jeep has the 4.2 liter 258 6 cylinder engine and is a three speed manual. I purchased this Jeep in May from the original owner who is a friend of mine. The original owner purchased the Jeep to keep at their second home in Breckenridge and has always been garaged. You can see from picture where the Jeep has the original white top on it, it was a barn (or garage) find. I put a new soft top on it and still have the original top and doors. The original top has a tear near the top on the rear right side that is about 6 inches long. The windows on the top are very opaque and you really can't see through them, and the passenger side door window has a tear in it. I replaced the shocks, battery (with a 5 year warranty) and front bumper with a OEM replacement. The Jeep has 31099 original miles on it. There are some scratches and chips on the original paint, but otherwise it looks really good for a car that is 43 years old. It runs and drives great. I purchased the car for my son who turned 16 in October but my wife does not like the fact that it only has lap belts vs the shoulder harness type. I would keep the car if I had a 3 car garage. I have posted a lot of pictures to give you a very accurate and honest look at the car. There is a tear in the drivers side of the seat that is about 6 inches long. The Jeep has a bench front seat with 3 seat belts and has seat belts for 2 in the back. The tires are in great shape.
