This is a wrecked 2004 Mazda Miata MX-5 we recovered on a tow in and purchased from the customer ... We are a Local Private Towing & Recovery Service and we often are able to purchase vehicles we tow or recover from wrecks locally or on the interstate that runs thru our town ! We recovered this 2004 Miata on 2/25/2015 after the owner was involved in a wreck locally . He owned the vehicle outright and we purchased it from him "We purchased on 8/20/2015"... I have all the documentation on the transaction and paper trail from the recovery date to now including the title transfer "i.e: Paperwork includes police report from the wreck , Recovery documentation , storage and then transfer documentation from purchase." ... The title is marked via the state of TN "Rebuilt Vehicle" ... I am selling this car AS-IS . It could be rebuilt again and still have a Rebuilt title or you could buy it to use as a donor parts car ... On 11/29/16 I was able to pry open the hood and attempt to start the engine ! The odometer read 48,747 when I powered the car up and the engine cranks over but has no spark ! I looked thru the oil fill opening and the overhead camshafts are spinning when turning the engine over ... I believe in the collision a cam position sensor or Crank sensor was busted and not allowing the engine a spark ! It acts just like a engine with that issue . I stopped attempts to start at that ... The photo's I have provided show it as it sits now and where it has sat since its recovery in Feb / 2015 ! As of 11/29/16 . 48,747 is the mileage , 2004 Mazda Miata MX-5 Convertible with front end damage from a collision .... Nothing has been removed ... As I mentioned we are selling this vehicle AS-IS Where is ... It is Buyers responsibility to arrange pick up after payment / purchase ... I will do all I can to work with your pick up needs on our property .. I will be happy to answer any ?'s you may have on this vehicle ... The Airbags did NOT deploy but I do not know if that is by a defect or simply because the impact area was just in the center of the frame rails and it missed the sensors ? I do not know ... The Top is very nice with No damage and it has the heated Glass rear window "not the clear plastic style rear window" . The top is vinyl and black in color ... The interior is a 2-tone black and grey clothe . It is AM-FM CD , Power windows and locks ... I do want to ad there is some minor damage I have noticed on the left rear corner of the vehicle but not "Major" damage "See photo's"...
