75 honda elsinore cr125 marty smith replica........i built this bike about 12 years ago as a close to exact replica marty smiths 1975 championship winning rc125 works bike.it is a one of a kind and looks just like his bike.has a 75 totally rebuilt cr125 motor in a 76 frame with mods to make the frame look like a 75.bike has 15 inch fox shoxs,air cap 76 forks,a period correct and very rare "protopipe"uppipe with special fiberglass side panel,and a extremely rare dg firberglass tank that looks just like the 75 rc125 tanks,they only made these tanks for two years in 74-75 and this is an original not a reproduction,the tank was also signed by marty smith himself.bike has all new stainless spokes and tires,cables,grips,bars,chain and sprockets,air filter and 30mm carb.the bike was featured in vmx magazine issue 47 and was built as a show bike but would make a really really nice rider also.it has bin sitting for over ten years and has a few small scratches and paint imperfections but over all it still looks awesome.i started the bike last week and it runs and shifts but has never seen dirt,i then drained all the fluids.the bike would probably need some "sorting out"with jetting and such if you wanted to race it but the motor is completely fresh.the fox air shoxs will also need new seals and oil as one of them is not holding air well from sitting for so long.i went to great lengths to make this bike look just like martys rc125 and i included a few pictures of martys bike at the end of my listing.this bike would make a great addition to your collection,shop,or office.please message me here on ebay with any question.buyer handles ALL SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS.i will make myself available for shipper pick up......PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS ON EBAY!!!!
