I am selling my 1979 Lincoln Mark V. I've owned this car for 4 years and have had the following work professionally done on this car: Interior redone/replaced: Seats (front and rear) carpeting, and dash. & New Vinyl "half roof". New Carpet in the trunk. Engine: Full tune up, Rebuilt Carb and new Battery. New Exhaust. Air Conditioning, Cruise Control and Power Windows and Power Seats all work. Engine runs strong. I have noted the known issues below. I also have replacement trim for the passenger side front and rear wheel wells. (Bought on Ebay in very good conditions for $300 each.) Many other spare parts come with the car. I have receipts for all work done on the car. I have taken the car down to the Jersey shore several times during the summer (60 miles round trip). Overall a good vehicle that I enjoy driving around town on the weekends. Here are the known issues with the car:Rust: "quarter sized rust spots on the passenger and drivers door just above the door trim. Surface rust on rocker panels behind the driver and passenger side front wheels. I am told this is very common with these cars.Oil Pan gasket - slight leak. Told it was an easy fix.Clock "runs" but does not keep accurate time - Replacement comes with the car.Stereo - FM works great. AM and 8 Track do not workMoonroof does not work. I have the car listed for $3200 but am willing to entertain reasonable offers. I would like to see the car go to someone who can put a few bucks into her and take het to the next level. I am at a crossroads as I would like to continue to restore the car but want to also buy a boat! (A real boat -- Not a Detroit Land Yacht)
