Up for auction is this Honda CB750 SS. Vintage Honda motorcycle, the first to be called a "Superbike". The bike is in very good condition and has just under 27,000 miles on it. It starts right up, does not leak fluid and runs extremely well. Engine is 750CC with 4 single barrel carburetors. The paint is not original, and has a couple of flaws but the bike still presents well. I just had the bike serviced, including cleaning and adjusting the carbs, new front brakes, fixed fuel system and brand new battery. The tires are older but show no signs of cracking and have a fair amount of tread remaining. The CB750 is included in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Classic Bikes; was named in the Discovery Channel's "Greatest Motorbikes Ever;" was in The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition,and is in the UK National Motor Museum. The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. rates the 1969 CB750 as one of the 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology.Buyer to pay $200 non-refundable deposit via paypal within 48 hours of auction close.
