For sale - 1985 Buick Electra Park Avenue51,667 original miles - all factory original with the exception of consumables; spark plugs, brakes, tires, etc... Car was inherited from my grandfather who recently passed, and I have no need for 4 vehicles. He was the original/soul owner of the vehicle. The first ten years of the vehicles life was lived as a Sunday driver, wasn't until the mid nineties that he drove it year round. Car has recently had a new catback exhaust, AC Delco fuel pump, fuel filter, and spark plugs. Car needs new sway bar end links installed which are included with vehicle. Exhaust tubing needs welded back in as I needed to cut it off in order to drop the tank to install the new fuel pump. Exhaust shop did not route it exactly in the channel to allow dropping the tank. I drove the car daily until the fuel pump died. 50 mile round trip at highway speeds. The good. - interior is in pristine condition. No rips, no tears, no burns, minor stain on carpet. Was never smoked in- vinyl top is in excellent condition. - paint is mostly good. Minor dings, if any. - all hubcaps in great shape. All center caps included, front driver will not stay clipped in. - original factory manual and operation booklets and cassette tape included in Buick binder. - radio works as it should. Auto antenna raises and lowers with power up of radio. - electronic fuel door and trunk release work. What the car needs - keep in mind this is a 30+ year old vehicle. - there is some surface rust- AC doesn't work- blend door for heat/vent sometimes sticks. Easily accessible behind the glove box door. - engine idles a bit rough at first start. Smooths out with driving- tires could use replacing. Not sure on their age, they show weather cracking. Good tread on them. - exhaust tube welded back in. - headliner sags as all cars from the 80's do. Currently tacked in place. Vehicle must be picked up with 7 days of auction end. $250 deposit due at the end of listing - Remainder of payment due at delivery of vehicle.
