Well here is my CA registered project....Planned to do alot but other issues have come up so...... I bought this from the original owner from the San Bernardino area of CA. It was parked about 1999, and I bought it last year. Was a running car when park with what I believe was a bad valve (ticked). Should be all numbers matching original owner said it was all original (I did not verify but looks as such). The CA Special GS 340 was a 1 year only car the vIN/body tag decodeS as a v6 and v8 Special Coupe~Easily researchable on Google. They were only available in 67 as a dealer special order versus nationwide in 68-69 as an option. This one is complete only missing the GS emblems for the rear pillars (dont know where they went). The impossible to find "California Special" Rear quarter emblems are both there. In the trunk is the original smog equipment if you want to go all original (looks like it is all there~unverified). So this needs the interior redone/ paint redone/ engine rebuilt/ but is a very excellent example of a California car~~Floorboards appear solid minimal rust as is apparent looking at pixs. I think at some point it was rear ended and the trunk pan was repaired pretty good~I was planning on replacing the pan if the body shop could not fix they thought they could just depended on how far I wanted to go on the paint. call me with ?'s like I said I INTENDED TO KEEP THIS BUT THINGS HAVE CHANGED SO THE RESERVE IS LOW OR JUST BUY IT NOW EITHER WAY i AM LOSING SOME MONEY. again call me 530.(363).0723 Oh no p/s no p/b no a/c 14" rims with drum brakes~this car is registered and insured in my name currently~again a true CA Special GS340 new fuel pump and ignition switch installed should be able to load running battery may be dead on arrival though. the ignition needs a direct wire to coil something is amiss again call with ?'s and do not be like the last guy follow thru please. GRILL LOOKS LIKE A SPECIAL GRILL~~SOME FACTORY PIXS SHOW THIS YEAR WITH A GS GRILL OR A SPECIAL GRILL SO I AM NOT SURE IF ORIGINAL OR NOT~~PLEASE I AM NOT RUNNING FOR OFFICE SO NOT INTO DEBATING THIS.
