Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a real Z-28 hot rod. I do not have the original engine but the rest is all there. 3.73 rear gears, Muncie M-22 (rebuilt just because at time of engine swap), 427 engine built to race tolerances (deck heights within .0005", cc's to within .7 cc etc.) - just using a slightly smaller cam, NOS (only one bottle used---never refilled), 6 point cage, frame connectors, rebuilt suspension, etc. etc. We started with an almost perfect Z-28, and rebuilt the entire car making improvements along the way, Then did the paint and bodywork. No expense was spared in the building of this car.....but, the body shop which did the paint work should not be allowed to work on lawn mowers!!! (door hinges were removed to rebuild--and not properly aligned - gap very close at rear and wide at front) Paint looked great for about 6 months then started to crack and flake off. As it sits this car is a land rocket (do not even need NOS), with the bad paint and door gaps (shown in pictures). Some rust coming thru on one door (pictured), and hood locks (picture -- china made i assume) do not lock. so cannot drive until these are fixed. Trunk gasket leaks (I would replace all gaskets after repaint) Car comes with original hood , some misc parts, new door gaskets, and two extra rims to match those on car. I have mentioned all the defects I could think of,, but PLEASE ask questions on anything you are unsure of. You are also welcome to look at the car in person. Thank you for looking and good luck in bidding.
