Up for auction is a 1988 Honda CR 250. This was an original low hour bike that had been in storage for years with a broken piston. It was started with blasting and powdercoating the frame. Every part, bolt, nut, etc has been refinished, plated or new.: ENGINE: Has NOS crank, bearings, seals, gaskets, piston, clutch, reed cage and boot. It has replated cylinder with new aluminum ignition and clutch cover.SUSPENSION: Suspension was rebuilt and revalved by Noleen and was hard anodized with new seals, bushings, springs, etc.WHEELS: Hubs were blasted and painted with black ceramic, new bearings, seals, stainless spokes, Excel rims and Bridgestone 403 and 404 tires.BODY WORK: Original gas tank polished, all new fenders, side panels and number plate. Seat foam, cover and shroud graphics are MXM from England.MISC: New parts: shift lever, cables, sprockets and chain, brakes, brake rotor, chain slider, radiator, bars, controls, footpegs, pipe, silencer and cables.As you can see this bike is very nice and well detailed. It is ready to be ridden or go to a museum. I do have a video of it running, but cannot download it on ebay. I can email it. It does not have a title, but can provide a bill of sale of needed.
