1996 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 (4 wheel drive) Powerstroke 7.3 diesel Supercab Longbed in very good to excellent condition. NO RESERVE It is RARE to find one in this good of shape. NO RUST on body. Frame and drivetrain are virtually rust free, just some very minor surface rust. Unlike some listings where fresh undercoating hides the true condition of the vehicle, I've purposefully left the undercarriage as is to show it's great condition. Truck is solid and will last. Truck is currently registered in WI but has rarely been driven in WI winters and rarely exposed to road salt at all. That's why it's in such good shape. Some key upgrades have been made to the truck, including: Detroit Trutrac helical gear limited slip differential. A HUGE improvement over the open differential that came standard in these trucks. AFE magnum force cold air intake 3" down pipe, 4 inch exhaust, 5" chrome tip Electric (E-fuel) system with Air Dog raptor lift pump High output / low rpm alternator, great for running lights, auxiliary pumps, etc. 3 gauges on the pillar: fuel pressure, transmission temp, EGT (not currently working, I think the probe needs to be cleaned). Edge programmer, which I run on "tow," which is level one. Helps with shift points and low end power without taxing the engine or transmission. Other features to note: 285 BFG AT's on alloy wheels. Always plugged in for very cold starts to reduce wear. Maintenance includes: Oil changes at 5,000 mi intervals, including fresh oil change for sale.Fluids serviced at regular intervalsBrakes, front and rear, done at 230,000.Front end at 230,000.Glow plugs most recently changed at 250,000Glow plug relay and starter relay this fallVacuum pump and idler pulley at 240,000Valve cover gaskets and harnesses at 210,000 Paint and body are overall in very good to excellent shape. Paint been touched up in some places and there are some small minor dings / dents. See the pics.There are some bolts in the roof from where previous owner had a visor mounted. They are sealed and painted. Watertight.Windshield is like new, other glass is very good.Interior is in very good shape. Seats show wear but no tears and are clean. Carpet is clean. Like all twenty year old vehicles, there are some quirks and imperfections: Passenger window switch on driver's side does not work, but works fine on passenger side.Aux input and radio work on stereo, but display and buttons on head unit do not. I control it from a remote. Drivers door panel has one 1-2 inch crack near base of window, passenger side is great.Bed is dirty. Spray on bedliner good in most places but torn in a couple of spots near cab. Aceess holes drilled in bed to run hoses on driver and passenger side (see pic).Speedometer sometimes jumps a bit around 70 mph. Doesn't affect performance at all. Overall, this is a well-cared for truck in very good condition with plenty of life left. Message me with questions or for specific pictures.
