You can come with your helmet and gloves and ride it home or cross states to California if choose to. !!! This is a 1970 Short Wheel Base BMW R75/5 motorcycle. Triple matching # 2975835 on frame, data tag and engine.. No smoke, no leak, Engine, gear box and final drive are quite, no smoke no leaks. A strong runner and need noting and with no issue to report, it run well, sift smoothly and stop well. Usual 40 years old bike cosmetic paint chips, touch up, and some scratches. We got this bike from New York, Me and my mechanic brought it home, wipe the dust off, New fluids, All light, horn and turn signals and switch work perfectly. We performed following : New Odyssey PC 680 dry cell battery, ( with 2 years warranty) Magura grips and low European FLINDER low bar Upgraded New Speedo from Germany. Serviced brake shoes, both front and back. Safety checked/re-torqued on every single nuts and bolts on the whole bike. Re-adjusted front brake setting. Ensured all the wiring/lights functional. Re-set valve gaps to spec. Re-set ignition timing/gap. New spark plugs. Cleaned/Serviced both upgraded R100GS carburetors. Serviced horn. New fuel lines Replaced all fluids (TWICE) (Engine, transmission, driveshaft, and final drive). Cleaned/lubed all the cables.
