The CA shop that did the rebuild verified them as SD heads. Let me know if you have any more questions! Thanks Steve I will put answers to all questions here as the mail delivery system is not sending my replies for some reason. Or try sharris85@yahoo.com for direct communication. On Oct-13-16 at 08:20:08 PDT, seller added the following information: STATS 69' 428 Pontiac vs 73' 455HO Per- http://www.wallaceracing.com/ Keep in mind 428 is bored 30+455290HP(455SD)16/X(rd port)2.11/1.77111cc428370HP (GP)622.11/1.77 72 ccOn Oct-13-16 at 13:00:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received information from what seems like a knowledgeable individual in regards to the make of the heads on my engine. The shop that did the rebuild told me when I picked it up that it had Super Duty (SD) heads so my reference to that was based solely on that information expecting that in order to rebuild them they would HAVE to know this. Still a very nice, strong motor, still by specs above more horsepower than the 455HO according to research. Given the above info and disclaimer, my value on this car is not solely based on the motor but the body itself which as stated earlier is used to make the HIGHLY valued 455 T/As Firebird Super Duty models. On Oct-13-16 at 13:15:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Also please note, when creating this auction I was given only a few options when describing the size of motor in the drop down list, which was required hence my emphasis on the 428 information and the closest to what is actually in the car being the 455 7.5 liter, mine being what should spec out to 7.1 liter 433cu inches. Again the HP is referenced directly above from Wallace Racing sight. On Oct-13-16 at 16:58:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Running lights work fine, replaced a couple of bulbs. Rear tail light housing has a mounting tang missing on one bulb each side but lights still mount fine. Floor pans are good
