Vehicle Detail

1964 Ford Falcon Base 2 door sedan. Overall very clean low mileage car - believe I'm the 4th owner. Been stored inside most of its life and I believe it with the condition. I've owned the car a few years and purchased it all original with one repaint one it. Was origianlly a inline 6/3 on the tree car in chantilly beige. I redid the brakes and suspension and then decided to paint and make the car what I wanted (hot street car) After paint my big money engine had problems so I decided to sell the car as I've since moved and lost my big garage. I ended up putting in a stock 302 c.i. engine with and AOD transmission. Car has maybe 2 miles on it since it was all taken apart for paint/drive train work. Lost room for the car as well as interest. Car will need tinkering as I just this week drove the car around the neighborhood. Quite a head turner and will be fun for the right person with a few tweeks. Body Whimbleton white. totally disassembled for paint- doors/fenders off, glass removed, etc. All new seals, gaskets, felt strips in glass. Car is really straight and presentable. Still has some scratched from wet sanding that need attention and rebuffing. I'm not a pro but the hard work was done. New door handles, mirror and teardrop hood. All original body parts otherwise. Underneath car was POR15 painted and looks great. Solid floors and frame rails. Car has a chip on the drivers door/outside and each door has a small chip on the inside by the top. 2 small checks in the paint on the deck lid. Other that these there are a few very hard to spot issues where too much wet sanding caused a problem by sanding through. One on the drivers fender and one on the topside of the drivers fender. Hard to even spot but I want to be 100% honest. Suspension new bushings up front, balljoints and shocks all around. Stock rear leafs, Brakes All new hard lines and rubber lines front to back. New master cylinder. Interior recovered seats, new carpet, new B&M floor shifter. Drive train 302 5L from 1985 mustang. Engine has higher miles and burns some oil and smokes a bit. Runs good otherwise. Many new parts otherwise - oil pan/oil pump, all mounts, starter starter solenoid, distributor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, water pump, 1 wire alternator, serpentine belt, newish carb, throttle cable, transmission cable, headers, air cleaner, valve covers, pcv valve, breather, I'm sure I'm forgetting things. AOD from 89 mustang also. New mount for this. TV cable will need to be messed with for proper shifts (need specialized gauge which I don't have) Speedo doesn't operate as the stock 3 speed speedo gear doesn't operate in the AOD. I don't know why I even tried this to be honest. I've only gone 25 in the car so far with this combo and the 1st to second shift feels nice and firm but can't speak to 3rd or forth. Temporary exhaust installed just to run the engine. Flex pipe off the headers and glasspacks out the side. Car is quite loud currently. Will need proper exhaust for cruising. Issues window trim needs to be put on. I'm afraid I would ruin it myself. All is accounted for and in good shape. Door gaskets need installed. In bags in the trunk with proper adhesive. Also the wipers need installed. I mentioned the paint flaws. Just found out the dash lights don't come on and the headlights need adjusted. The dash lights worked when it was taken apart for paint. I must have missed a ground or something putting it back together. Should be easy to find as the car is simple. Not sure what else other than testing and tuning. I really only have driven this for a few minutes and frankly need this car sold. Used to have 3 car garage and now only have a 1 car garage so I can't keep this and tinker with it anymore. This car sorted would sell for good money so bid now to enjoy. Buy today and sell tomorrow and make money no doubt. On Oct-10-16 at 18:06:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention that the original owners manual is included. The original's owners Ford registered owners plan (warranty) is filled out from the original purchase and still in the owners manual!!! Never seen one of these before. Also included are the original keys on the original ring from the dealership and believed to be the original paper tag still on the ring. These keys look to never have been used. I can also facilitate any shipping needed by the high bidder. While I will not make any of the arrangements I will work with any shipper that you might select.
