1993 Bentley Turbo R in excellent condition. Black with Parchment interior, just turned 40,000 miles. Recent brakes, plugs and fluids. The rear suspension, hydraulic accumulators and all tires were replaced at 36,000 miles. The stock bar grille has been replaced with a factory mesh unit. All of the headlights were updated to Cibi halogen’s so you can actually see where you are going. Garaged since new, no accidents, original paint that is in show room condition, interior is virtually mint, only driven when the sun shines. Bought this car with the intention of keeping it, so starting from the front I replaced or repaired everything the even looked questionable. This is truly a no issues car that can be confidently driven anywhere.If you are looking for a maintainable Turbo R, 1993 is the year to have. It was the last year of the Bosch KM-Motronic CSI fuel injection that any old school Volkswagen mechanic can fix and the first year of the GM 4L80-E four-speed transmission that can be serviced by any transmission shop. When you have trouble with the ’94 and up engine management system you will need a big Bentley wallet and the performance of the earlier 3-speed cars cannot compare. My opinion of course.The problem child central door locking/immobilizer ‘computer’ in this car has been professionally replaced with an aftermarket Bulldog security system. The conversion was fully documented and detailed wiring diagrams as well as the original computer and door lock mechanisms come with the car.Reason for sale is we moved to North Carolina and no longer have the storage space.
