1966 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER SCOUT This Scout could use some TLC but frame and most sheet metal is straight with some rust and would be a great candidate for restoration. It ran when last parked about 15 years ago after being used solely for occasional snow plow service at the small dealership where I work.I bought this in 1975 from the second or third owner and used it everyday till about 1980 when I was provided with a demo where I work and did not need it any more. It was only used occasionally and for the lot in infrequent plowing duty from about 1999 to 2001 and has mostly been sitting since then.It still has the original 4 cylinder 152 CID engine , 4-speed trans and has 4.27 gears with an optional FA24 front power lock differential, is also equipped with a front mounted PTO driven Ramsey winch. I bought and installed the home made snow plow from another Scout that I bought for that purpose and installed a roll bar inside the travel top.I overhauled the engine in 1977 and semi restored/painted it in 1980 and has not had many miles put on it since then, it ran when last used but I cannot attest to the current condition of the powertrain now, I always intended to restore it but I just don't have the time.I have the original dealer line sheet from when it was sold new on June 10, 1966 in Springfield Il and it lists it as a "DOLL UP SCOUT" with all the options and codes and I will provide that with the vehicle. Also listed locally and other sites, I reserve the right to end early if sold prior to auction end.
