Vehicle Detail
Awesome car, was in a minor fender bender on the front drivers side. The front drivers side fender was replaced, along with the hood. Roughly 115K miles. Good: NEW Firestone AS Wide Oval Tires: 205/55r16 front & 225/50r16 rear. NEW 80w90 LSD transmission fluid. NEW 20W50 motor oil. NEW 50/50 Antifreeze NEW brake fluid throughout NEW rear drivers side CV joints & axle. NEW Bosch spark plugs NEW STI plug wires NEW radiator reservoir cap Newer 1993 Porsche 968 rear shocks installed. RARE 951 specific Fuch wheels ($1500 value alone) NEW Autometer Vacuum/Boost gauge NEW Lindsey Racing 951 Max Chip (comes with stock chips too) Used Lindsey Racing Boost Enhancer Used 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator (comes with stock 2.5 bar regulator too) Newer Front LCA, tie rod, and shock. Newer shifter and boot. Factory BREMBO brakes all around. Have tons of documentation to go with car along with tool kit and manuals. The only thing missing is the air compressor. Car has been plasti dipped. I have before dip pictures. The front drivers side fender, door, and hood would need to be repainted. Rest of the car is immaculate. Bad: Front windshield is cracked. This model had the antenna built into the windshield a true replacement is $600 or so. If you go without an antenna, you can get one much cheaper. Windows are neither one working. I think it is the relay which is only $25 used. All gauges EXCEPT speedometer work. Drivers side seat could stand to be repaired. And the car still has a small hint of mouse pee smell. Conclusion: I bought this off an engineer I work with. He wrecked it about 5 years ago, while doing something he wasn't so it was not turned into his insurance. He was just going to fix the fender himself, but he never managed to get around to it so it sat. I have spent months working on and enjoying this monster of a car. This thing was $29,900 new back in 1986. This thing is loaded and only needs a few last final touches. Car will scream down the road too. The chip and enhancer make a big difference. I have pictures of the computer pulled and me installing the chip if you want proof.
